During these unprecedented times the sharing of up-to-date information and concise communication has become more critical than ever.
Below are links to a number of sources that are providing information and resources about Coronavirus (COVID-19) in languages other than English.
Make sure to share these resources among your staff, and with your clients and their carers.

Department of Health, Australian Government
The Department of Health has produced a number of resources about COVID-19 in languages other English.
The resources including fact sheets, guidelines and other publications are available in Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Greek, Italian, Korean, Kurdish, Persian/Farsi, Spanish and Vietnamese.

The DHHS has translated several resources, including posters and public service announcements, into a number of languages.

NSW Health
The NSW Government has translated several COVID-19 fact sheets, posters and other resources into numerous languages.

COVID-19 Multilingual Resource Library
Ethnolink Language Services has launched a COVID-19 Multilingual Resource Library.
This is a collection of resources from National and State government sites as well as information from the World Health Organisation covering 50 languages.

SBS News
Access local and overseas news and information about COVID-19 from the SBS website.
Includes the video 'Coronavirus explained in your language', which is available in 16 languages.

Free Interpreter Services |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
TIS National
Approved providers of government-subsidised aged care can use the Translating and Interpreting Service for free when discussing care needs, fees, care plans and budgets with clients. The Australian Government funds these services so that all people can take an active role in their aged care.
You can access TIS National for free if you’re an approved provider of:
- Commonwealth Continuity of Support Programme services
- Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) services
- Home Care Packages
- Residential aged care
- Short-term restorative care
- Transition Care Programme services
